My beautiful Ballerina at K.D.F Academy

K.D.F Academy
As I have mentioned Emilyn started Ballet a few weeks ago.
Oh my goodness she adores it.
I thought I would share with you especially if you live in West Sussex & have young children looking for dance classes....
We go to KDF every Saturday Ballet starts at 9am this is for half an hour, at 9:30 Emilyn then goes into Musical theatre till 10am.

The dance teachers are so lovely & enthusiastic, *I have no idea how they have so much energy. It must just be their passion for dance that makes them like this.
Emilyn is normally very shy but after just one *taster class she now goes straight into her ballet classes with no fight. She's actually excited to say good bye to us. It's so lovely seeing her enjoy something as much as this.

Emilyn in her ballet class
Since Emilyn joined K.D.F academy a few weeks ago her confidence has grown so much.
She skips out of her dance classes in the happiest mood raving all about what Miss Kayleigh & Miss Jojo taught her today.

She also absolutely loves having her hair done & putting her ballet uniform on...

At K.D.F academy you make the best of friends too.

Emilyn with Hugo just before Ballet

I think this is adorable. True laughter in her ballet class

I would totally recommend K.D.F academy for any little girl or boy super impressed. I've already signed Hugo up to start once he turns 3.

Walls are not for colouring!

I'm blaming myself for this one... I'm sure its Karma.
Emilyn never drew on my walls, she never drew on my furniture... & I thanked my lucky stars of my well behaved daughter.
I even remember 'bragging' to my own Mum how lucky I was to have such a good girl.

Well now I have a son. A Boy. & Boys are completely different. Hugo's 20 months old & into everything... Emilyn had her fourth Birthday this week & one of her presents was felt tip pens. Now i'm not complaining. But Hugo today has drawn me two 'beautiful' art works.
(apologies to no photos) Thankfully he has only drawn on my kitchen island so i've been able to wipe clean. But It terrifies me that it could of been my lovely white clean walls.
Honestly I would of been mortified.

I told him off the first time & left it at that...
But less than an hour later he's drawing on it again.
I had to put the poor little poppet in the corner and told him off.
It felt so foreign to tell him off... he still seems like a little baby.

I just thought i'd memo down the day that my little guy started to cause trouble with the felt tips.

Perhaps he's planning on being the next 'Banksy'

Molly Coddle Childrenswear A/W 13 range

Molly Coddle

I recently found Molly Coddle childrens wear, I am in absolute awe of everything... Beautiful girls-wear  & beautiful boys-wear.

So I caught up with Tracey the founder of Molly Coddle

It's just nice to get a bit of background when telling my readers about such beautiful products.

So I managed to ask her some questions....
1) How/what made you start up MollyCoddle? Molly Coddle Childrenswear dresses boys, girls and babies, ages newborn up to seven years and is a little different from the rest of the high street.
Much of it is hand made or hand embellished in Sussex, UK and other items are bought from carefully selected suppliers.
September 2010 saw the arrival of my (Tracey Edwards, creator) first baby, and my pregnancy shopping trips inspired me to create Molly Coddle Childrenswear.

Amazing. I love that.
2) Do you only specialise in children's clothing? At present Molly Coddle specialises in clothing and accessories, but I would love to move into maternity wear in the next three years. Many items are unique to Molly Coddle and other styles are purchased from other great childrenswear brands such as Powell Craft and Pixie Dixie.

Maternity wear would be FABULOUS! - I love love love Powell Craft & Pixie Dixie. My Son has a fair few bits of it...
Here's Hugo in Powel Craft

& Hugo again wearing Powel Craft
3) How long have you been in business for? Two years.
4) Are you the sole company or do others work with/for you? I am the creator, however when the business is very busy (as many items are hand made) I work with very talented Sussex ladies who assist in the Molly Coddle manufacture.
5) Apart from the main website & other websites who sell your stock where else can we find you? I am so pleased to be working with Alex and Alexa, The Wool Bar, Worthing and Moodles in Exeter. Molly Coddle is also on sale in Horsham every Thursday at the Carfax Market for handmade creations.

- I had already found Molly Coddle on Alex and Alexa love that website.
6) Is there any thing in specific that drives your business? I aim to design special things for 'extra special' little people. I love it when I meet mums to be and they bring along their newborns and I see the children grow and develop. The website has a Gallery page where children send in photographs of them wearing their Molly Coddle outfits, which is wonderful.

That really does sound truly wonderful..
7) Do you have a textile background?  I studied Fashion and Design and Art when I left school and have experience in retail, commercial business and customer service rolls which are a perfect complement when creating your own business.

You've done amazing. I can see Emilyn & Hugo wearing Molly Coddle outfits for this Christmas.

Here's a few photos from Molly Coddles Autumn/Winter 2013 range

I Love all the clothes: I get a lot of people ask where I shop for my little ones & I always send them to Molly Coddle.

An Honest Blogger

I pride myself in my 110% honesty on my blog. I'm sometimes so honest I completely forget people read it. I treat my blog like my diary & I feel I am over honest at times.
It comes to a shock to the system that 15,000 yes thousand fifteen thousand people a month find my blog. read my reviews, read my blog posts about Hugo & Emilyn, read my thoughts.
Because lets face it... my blog is pretty much you guys reading what i'm thinking.
I full well know that the popularity from my blog is because you guys love my honesty. You've told me. I would never change my blog posts. I can't really. I still use BusyBeeMummyBex as my free therapy. I really do.
I just get a little bit taken back when people who I know mention my blog to my face. I forget you read it. I forget you read my thoughts. I forget you enjoy what I write. I just forget.
I want to thank you all, yes you reading this. I'm not sure why you all enjoy reading my blog. Maybe because i am a honest blogger, & I don't hide who I am... although you'll never know my real age. Ha I'm staying in my mid twenties for the next 20 years... But that information I know you don't really care how old I am.
apart from that I really am an honest blogger...
I write my blog as if no one is reading.
You know that saying "dance like no one is watching"
I really do "Blog like no one is reading"
I then get shocked to see thousands of you are reading!
almost 100,000 of you this year! WOW a little bit scary. But wow amazing at the same time.

I better keep up the good work.

Keep your eyes peeled we as a family have some exciting news to share with you all very soon.

Spaghetti with the YETI - *Book Review*

The first in a new picture book series from Adam and Charlotte Gillian and award-winning Lee Wildish...

Spaghetti with the Yeti - A fast-paced, rhyming romp of a story about Yetis, Monsters and George - an intrepid kid determine to prove the yetis existence.

I received this book to review it last week & every day we have read it.
We all enjoy reading it... Hugo loves it he gets so excited about trying to find the yeti!.

So exciting Hugo! with only a map, a wooly hat and a tin of spaghetti in his rucksack, George sets off on his quest up the steep mountain path.... and spots the Yeti immediately!
But wait ... just look at that lipstick can it really be the yeti??

It has very clever rhyming the whole way through... It is fabulous to read-aloud.
Spaghetti with the Yeti is a quirky and hugely commercial book with international appeal.
The illustrations are great really great! So vibrant and exuberant it brings the story to life.

This beautiful book RRP is £6.99

Look out for Marshmallows for Martians in 2014 !!
