Shoe Zone Womens Tan Toe Flipflops with Diamante Plate | Review

How cute are these flip flops? I love how they're nude colour doesn't stand out too much yet the diamante stands out beautifully.
I love them. I love how they'll fit in with pretty much any outfit.
You can find them from ShoeZone for just £9.99

They are very comfy & look stylish.

I spent all day at the local country park wearing them running after the smalls & no blisters. Perfect.
My feet are normally a 4.5 UK size I usually wear a 5 with no problems - I would say these flip flops come up small. As I'd normally wear a 5 with room to breathe - these flip flops are on the snug side.

So if you did order them get a size bigger than you normally would.

Take a look at the Shoe Zone website here

I was very kindly sent these to review and display from the marketing team at shoezone, but all opinions are personally my own.

My Birthday Week that was Fabulous.

How the years go so quickly, yet the months take an age to get through, yet the weeks fly by, yet the days are gone by within a blink of an eye.
My Birthday was last week.
Last year we celebrated with going out for Breakfast then going to Tilgate park with the family. You can check out the blog post here.
The year before I celebrated my Birthday in Miami. At Miami Zoo amazing.

This year was quite chilled as it was a Monday... Boo. Mr.H had to work. So I got a few friends together & went to our local garden centre (I know I'm showing my age) the garden centre has the most beautiful cafe with amazing cakes & scones. Yum!

My scone with jam & fresh cream.

Mr.H surprised me with a birthday cake & candles. awww.
For my presents I was spoilt rotten with new
Bedroom Tv only a small one, Footballers wives dvd box sets (Yes I was excited to re watch trash tv) A new cushion for my sofa, new bracelet,  new clematis for my garden & a beautiful wisteria plant too, some money, a new huge mirror, a yankee candle, a beautiful heart candle, a new bag, lots of beautiful flowers, So so much....
The weekend before my birthday Mr.H & I went out for dinner without the smalls. Baby free evenings are always needed.

Then on Thursday Mr.H had his day off work & we went to my favourite ice cream parlour with H too.

Perfect end to my birthday week. Next up is Mr.H 's birthday next week.

Broken ADM Boot "I need my new boots"

Back in March we broke them 'Broken ADM boot'
It's so annoying. H actually enjoys wearing his boots at the moment. We've come so far. H was so upset to only wear one boot last night.
He woke up in the early hours asking for his new boots!
He can't wait to get them. (They're on order from our last Physiotherapy appointment) So hopefully they'll arrive any day now.
Hopefully in the mean time we don't regress back to not wanting to wear anything on his feet.
I'm glad he's so excited about wanting new ones to wear.

My top 10 Travel Strollers perfect for aeroplanes.

1 - Bugaboo Bee 3 Van Gogh Package Limited Edition - £659.00 - 8.7kg

I've had the Bugaboo bee & the bee plus & taken both on aeroplanes. It was a breeze. I'd recommend getting the Bugaboo transport bag if you've got a new bugaboo though as they can get scratched/dirty.
Very easy to fold in one piece. Very practical for baby to toddler to child. You can add a Buggy board.
Not too heavy!
2 - Recaro Easylife, £189, 5.7kg
Easily foldable with one hand. Perfect for getting in & out of car, public transport & aeroplanes. Great to carry once folded.  We love this stroller - the price is fab. From 6 months - child the stroller does everything it says it does. There is nothing to complain about! Bravo Recaro.

3 - Quinny Yezz Stroller, £175 5kg
I've owned three of these in various colours. They are the travel hero of the stroller world. For a child 6 months plus this is the stroller to buy to keep in the boot or keep in the cupboard for your holiday abroad.
I have a full Quinny yezz Review here. It's ultra light weight & comes with a shoulder strap!

4 - Babyzen YOYO 6+ -  £309 - 5.8kg
When we heard of the launch of the Babylon Yoyo (this would be small enough to go on a plane as hand luggage) we wondered if every parents travelling prayers had been answered! - You know when you're on holiday you take your stroller up to the aeroplane gate then don't get it back till your collecting your suitcases on that conveyor belt. You know that struggle! That struggle is real! Especially after a 10 hour flight! This stroller is small enough to by pass that STRUGGLE! This stroller is amazing. It looks fabulous. It's sturdy. It's everything we as parents need.

5 - Maxi Cosi Noa - £150 SALE £125 - 7kg
The Maxi Cosi Noa - I bought this new about 3 years ago. We took it around Europe aeroplane to aeroplane.
Can I fault it? No I can't. I love this little buggy. We created so many amazing memories with this little buggy. Foldable with one hand. It lays back for baby to sleep. It's a bargain price. You can fold it up & pull the handle to wheel it with your suitcase for an easier life.

6 - Quinny Zapp Xtra 2 - £275 - 8.7kg
Another stroller I've owned. You've probably guessed by now I am a bit of a buggy addict. But hey I'm a blogger so it helps to know what I'm talking about. The amount of people who come to me for buggy advice is unreal.
This is a one piece fold. YES! Thank you Quinny. It's sturdy & lays flat as well as parent face. There is no cons to this stroller. It's a stroller I highly recommend to people. It's great!

7 - Icandy Raspberry - £538.54 - 6.6kg
Very similar to the Bugaboo Bee on looks & feel. But I prefer this stroller. I prefer it over all with the look & practically of it. It folds easily. It's another perfect stroller to be used in towns or on public transport. In a range of colours. This is of higher end price but the quality won't let you down.

8 - Mountain Buggy Nano - £199.99 - 5.9kg
HOW impressed am I with this Mountain Buggy Nano.! Lightweight. Fold up into a backpack. Perfect price & fabulous reviews. We love this stroller.

9 - Signature Edition Family Caboodle Armadillo City Pushchair - £209.99 - 8kg
All I've heard is perfect reviews from the Armadillo City. This Signature Edition has totally stolen my heart. I love it!
Perfect fold & stylish. What more could you ask for?

10 - Special Edition Donna Wilson Urbo Bug - £199 - 8kg
The Donna Wilson Urbo. Well hello you foxy little number. This is last but by no means least. This is in the top ten of travel strollers due to its easy fold & the handle on the side to help carry it. It has a recline feature & looks as good as it can but with its practical stroller features too!. The reviews are fabulous.

The ADM boots are doing good!

The news I've been waiting for. Just how good are these ADM boots. They're from C-Pro Direct & he's had them about 9 months
then he accidentally
Broke the ADM boots - March 2015
Then we got the new ADM's sent to us & at last he sleeps whilst wearing them!!
Walking to the hospital

Tiring business going to the hospital.

So since April 15 he has worn his boots every night all night for 12-14 hours. It's amazing.
He told his Physios yesterday all by himself.
I said Hugo has big news for you...
"I wear my boots all night long" Hugo said.
It was the CUTEST & actually brought tears to my eyes.
Everyone was SO proud of him.

We had a coffee before his appointment

Hugo loves a babychino

He's at such a good age of understanding now, he let the physios move his feet like they normally do. He done everything they asked him to do.
Last appointment his left foot tendon was tighter than the right. His left was a 20 instead of 50 this appointment his left foot was higher again (GOOD NEWS) but his right foot is now a 20 instead of 50...... BUT they didn't seem too worried. We will just keep using his Dorsi ramp & still put his boots on.

Overall he is doing well. They had a trainee physio with them today who was lovely!
The physio's told the trainee all about the books I'd written & then asked if I have had the chance to write any more..... No chance I said. Life is hectic. Here's the link to wear your boots Ted

We don't have to go back for 6 months! This is amazing!! - They've ordered him a new pair of ADM boots in a size 7!

The day before H's foot check up

Why do I ALWAYS panic? This week has been 100% focused on his appointment. 3 years done the line & I always feel the same. The sudden panic of what if.
I suppose this time is slightly different, he has been wearing his boots and bar. We are doing everything correctly. I just hope his feet are ok. His left foot worries me.
I think Hugo knows I'm worried as he's been super clingy. He wanted my bed last night then didn't want to go to preschool this morning.
I am however super excited to tell the physio's that H is actually wearing his boots & keeping them on all night. A-mazing!!
I hope I can update tomorrow with a positive post.

Barkbeats Dog Subscription Box *Review

Backbeats sent Coco a small box recently she absolutely loved it.
We've reviewed Barkbeats before you can take a look here. She was just 4 months old. Such a small pup she's now almost 10 months old.
She loved everything she got in her box.
If you are wanting to order your pup a BB box click here

It's £14.95 for one month or if you pay for 6 or 12 months it works out slightly cheaper.

'Eggciting news' with four new Chicks

For the last month we've been patiently waiting for our chicks to hatch.
We've had our Cockerel for about a year & as soon as we got him, *Rocky all our hens refused to get broody. So we couldn't get any babies.
Blue our beautiful hen started getting broody last month so we started leaving eggs under her but we marked each one with a cross & then after 7 days just kept removing the rest.
21 days seemed to take forever.
We moved Blue & her 7 eggs to a small hutch so the chicks would be safe once born.
When moving Blue & her eggs we could actually hear tweets & chirping coming from the eggs, it was amazing. One egg the chick was already starting to break to be born.

We didn't know just how many eggs had been fertilised or if we would get just one chick out of the seven.
Unfortunately I found one chick had died & I really cried, I had a bit of a panic melt down actually. The children asked to see the little chick & they held him then we buried him in the garden.
I would not be a very good farmer!!
To make them feel happier we picked Blue up & saw one chick alive & the rest all snuggled in there eggs still.

The children were so excited.
We've now got 4 chicks. The other two eggs weren't fertilised so Blue literally kicked them out of the nest.

They are all so cute.

They all keep themselves snuggled up under Blue but every now & then we see them all in the run, hopefully they'll become less shy as the days go by.

Some of the Chicks....

I'll hopefully be able to get a picture of all four of them with Blue soon.
